Pillbox; no specification. Pillbox [Sector 4]. Cassini ref 575514. On the sea front between Dymchurch and Hythe. (1)

The pillbox referred to above (source 1) is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 and has been mapped as part of the South East Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment NMP. The pillbox is facing south towards the coast, with the entrance porch on the northeast side. The pillbox is still visible on recent aerial photographs taken in 2006. (2-3)
