WWII pier visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 [1], located in Deal. The structure was not visible on aerial photography taken in 1943 [2], therefore it must have been constructed after this date. The 1946 photography showed a platform structure between the rectangular structures. This pier jetted into the water W-E, beginning just above the high water mark and ending 15m below the low water mark. It measured 53 x 8m in total. The pier was not visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [3].

A similar pier was located 800m S of this example (MWX43663).
