WWII structures visible in 1942, located in Walmer. The structures were rectangular and measured between 6.5m and 2m at maximum dimensions. They were located between 105m and 130m W of the high water mark, just upon the beach. These features were no longer visible in 1946. Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 showed the features to be absent.

WWII structures visible on aerial photography taken in 1942 [1], located in Walmer. The structures were rectangular and measured between 6.5m and 2m at maximum dimensions. They were located between 105m and 130m W of the high water mark, just upon the beach. These features were no longer visible on aerial photography taken in 1946 [2]. Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [3] showed the features to be absent.

The site was located directly adjacent to an area of WWII barbed wire (MWX43646), a single line of WWII barbed wire (MWX43648) and a line of WWII beach defences (MWX43640). A WWII military site (MWX43669) was located 80m WSW of these features.
