WWII pier visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 [1], located in Walmer. The feature was not visible on aerial photography taken in 1942 [2]. The site was seen to be partially constructed on aerial photography taken in 1943 [3], as just the rectangular structures were visible. The 1946 photography showed a platform structure between the rectangular structures. This site measured 53 x 8m and was located below the high water mark. The pier was not visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [4 and 5].

The W edge of the pier was located directly alongside a line of WWII beach scaffolding (MWX43629).
