This site was comprised of one pillbox, probably Dover style; with two structures alongside, one to the E and one to the W; and one roughly circular ditch. The pillbox measured 6m x 4.7m, the eastern structure measured 8 x 3.5m, the western structure measured 6 x 5m and the ditch was 5m in diameter. The easternmost structure was visible on aerial photography taken in 1941 [2]. None of the structures were visible on aerial photography taken in 1946 [3], though the ditch was still faintly visible. These features were not visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [4].

The site lay on the line of two sections of WWII barbed wire which ran N-S (MWX43649) (MWX43647). To the NW lay a WWII slit trench (MWX43660) and to the E lay WWII beach scaffolding (MWX43629).

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photographs exists within a GIS layer held by this HER.
