WWII roadblock visible in 1945, located in Dover. The feature appeared to have been removed, but the site was probably comprised of lines of anti-tank cubes. It was seen to be fully removed by 1947 and Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 showed the site to have been redeveloped as a new road.

WWII roadblock visible on aerial photography taken in 1945 [1], located in Dover. The feature appeared to have been removed, but the site was probably comprised of lines of anti-tank cubes. Visible were the outlines of five lines of anti-tank cubes in an area 6.5m x 7.5m, and 11m W of this was a single line 6.5m x 0.9m. It was seen to be fully removed on aerial photography taken in 1947 [2] and Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 showed the site to have been redeveloped as a new road [3].

A large roadblock crossing eleven railway tracks was located roughly 200m W of this site (MWX43620).
