Summary

Two lines of WWII anti-tank cylinders are visible on aerial photographs taken of Dover in the 1940's. These 24 anti-tank cylinders were orientated NE-SW and are located on a small beachimmediately next to the Castle Jetty. They are not visisble on subsequent aerial photography suggesting that they were removed shortly after the conclusion of the Second World War. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)

Two lines of WWII anti-tank cylinders visible on aerial photography taken in 1945 [1], located in Dover. These 24 anti-tank cylinders were just less than 1m in diameter and were orientated NE-SW. Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [2] showed the features to have been removed.
