WWII military building visible on aerial photography taken in 1945 but not on aerial photography taken in 1942 [1 and 2], located in Dover. This feature measured 11.5m x 5m and is of unknown function. However, the building may have been linked to the possible barrage balloon site (MWX43606) as it too was not present in 1942, but was visible on aerial photography taken in 1945. These features also lay 25m apart, within the same boundary. Next Perspective photography taken in 2003 [3] did not show the site, which is now within a housing development.

The building lay 84m W of the North Centre Bastion of Western Heights (MKE7019 and NMR 468101). This site was also in an area of WWII features, alongside was one potential small barrage balloon site (MWX43606), a potential gun position or shelter (MWX43603) and two large cut features (MWX43602 and MWX43604).

A transcription of the feature recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER.
