Sixteen WWII bomb craters visible on aerial photography taken in 1946 [1 and 2], located in South Foreland. All the craters lay within 230m of the cliff edge and ran along it for a distance of 800m. None of the features were visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2007 [3].
The craters lay S of an area of bomb craters (MWX43518) and military features enclosed in barbed wire (MWX43519). They also lay close to South Foreland Battery (Mke41990 and NMR1421774) and a military complex (MWX43575).
