Three WWII bomb Craters visible on aerial photography taken in 1945 and 1946 [1, 2 and 3], located in Fan Bay. The craters were widely spread around the bay, one just W of Wanstone Battery (MKe17934 and Mke41971), one just W of a barrage balloon site (MWX43571) and another just W of a military complex (MWX43575). The two craters to the W were still visible in 1949 [4] and only the westernmost crater was visible on aerial photography taken in 2007 [5].
