WWII large scale banks and ditches visible on aerial photography taken in 1941, 1942 and 1945 [1, 2 and 3] and located in Dover. The earthworks may have formed anti-landing obstacles and were likely to have been defensive in function. One ditch ran for 250m, another broken bank and ditch crossed 590m of ground in total and the final bank and ditch was 380m long. The features were not visible on aerial photography taken in 1953 [4] or on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2007 [5 and 6].

The features were located in a concentrated area of military features. They were in close proximity to aerial transmitters (MKE9024 and MWX43573) and were N of a large military site (MWX43542).
