An area of WWII defensive earthworks visible on aerial photographs taken in 1945 [1] and located in Dover. These ten banks and eight ditches spanned an area 340m x 140m. The function of the features is unknown, though it was likely defensive. The features were not visible on Next Perspective photography taken in 2007 [2] where the area was in use as grassland with some features now lying under a road.

The earthworks lay within an area of air raid shelters (MWX43538, NMR467930 and MKE6994) and bomb craters (MWX43539). To the NE lay two radar stations (MKE9024) and (MWX43573) and to the E lay slit trenches (MWX43577).

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photographs exists within a GIS layer held by this HER.
