Probable anti-vehicle obstacle store of WWII date, first visible on aerial photographs taken in 1942 [1] and still present in 1946 [2], located in St Margaret’s at Cliffe. Four rows of probable obstacles were visible in a field, along the edge of road, spanning 60m x 5.5m. Each feature was roughly 1m wide, making them too small to be anti-tank cubes. The site was no longer visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2007 [3].

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photographs exists within a GIS layer held by this HER.
