Three closely situated slit trench’s with banking south of the accommodation camp of the Great Farthingloe Anti-Aircraft Battery were first observed and mapped from RAF aerial photography December 1941 [1]. Comprising a zigzag shaped slit trench 26m long, a narrow straight trench with banking either side, 14m in length, and an L shaped bank with a trench on the inner side.

The zigzag slit trench was last seen in June 1942 [2]. The straight slit trench was last recorded in November 1946 [3]. The L-shaped bank was last recorded in August 1968 [4].
