Two WWII bomb craters on the coast of Sandwich Bay and visible on military aerial photographs taken in 1941 [1].

The sub-circular craters are located less than 25m from each other and have approximate diameters of 15m and 13.7m. The craters are first visible in August 1941 [1] and has been mapped from photographs taken in January 1942 [2]. Only the south-eastern crater is visible in January 1945 [3] and it is no longer apparent by August 2003 [4].
