Two WWII bomb craters, adjacent to New Downs Farm, East of Sandwich and visible on military aerial photographs taken in 1945 [1].

The sub-circular bomb craters have approximate diameters of 5m and 10m, with associated upcast surrounding the crater. The features were first visible in January 1945 [1] and were still apparent in April 1946 [2]. They are gone by August 2003 [3, 4].
