Four WWII bomb craters dropped in a single bombing event, located in North Stonar, and visible on military aerial photographs taken in January 1942 [1].

The line of sub-circular craters measure between 2m and 5.4m; three of which are surrounded by a ring of upcast. The craters have been dropped in a NE-SW line and are first visible in January 1942 [1] and were mapped from this series. They are no longer visible on military photographs taken in April 1950 [2], however on PGA data taken in 2003 [3] this area of intertidal land is still unused and the craters are easily identifiable.

The position of the craters may be slightly inaccurate due to difficulties rectifying the photographs.
