A sub-circular earthwork, interpreted as a saltmound of probable medieval date, is visible on 1940s RAF vertical aerial photography [1]. The mound measures 26m in diameter. Examination of modern aerial photographs indicates that this feature may have been levelled [2]. It was not visible on the Ordnance Survey 1877 edition [3].

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [4].
