Second World War pillbox located to the south of Dumpton Gap, mapped from aerial photographs taken in 1942.

The pillbox, located at 639293E 166163N, is a five sided structure measuring 6m in width.

It is first visible in January 1941 [1] and was mapped from photographs taken in May 1942 [2]. It is still visible in June 1980 and can be seen in aerial photographs taken by the Channel Coastal Observatory in 2008 [3].

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [4].
