Second World War military defence features visible as earthworks and is located on the coast to the south of Broadstairs Harbour, mapped from aerial photographs taken in 1942.

The features include three circular gun emplacements located less than 2m from one another in a triangle. These gun pits are thought to be constructed from sandbags and have an average internal diameter of 2.85m. Around the boundary of property there are three trench and bank features, presumably associated with the gun emplacements and also the property.

These features are first visible in, and have been mapped from, aerial photographs taken in May 1942 [1] and are gone by April 1946 [2].

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photography exists within a GIS layer held by this HER [3].
