Shornmead Navigation Light originally built 1913 and designed by Sir Thomas Matthews. (1). Large circular concrete and sheet piling platform in the river channel, probably the base of the light? (2) Due to erosion the lighthouse was replaced in 2004. The original structure is believed to stand in the Port of London depost at Denton Wharf, Gravesend.
