This feature is recorded in the English Heritage report on the Second World War Stop Line in the Hoo Peninsula. These are described as supporting defensive features at the Cliffe quarries to south bank of River Thames. The report states: "Four concrete blocks (each 1.2m) in a square arrangement, 4.2m x 4.2m, 225m. Condition: Recorded on RAF aerial photographs taken in March 1941. Removed during post war quarrying."
