The site of the former Little Tickenhurst Farm chalk Pit containing a single limekiln set into a rough chalk platform in an elongated quarry c. 1868. A small part of the kiln remains but has been damaged by a fallen tree. The kiln is the only one to survive in any substantial form in Kent. (1)
