Prior Selling's Gate, is the Tower gateway, a square shaped gatehouse about 30 feet by 30 feet in size with two large buttresses to the northern exterior, built by Prior Selling (1472-1494) during the 1470's as a gate with a new Prior's Study above. This gateway gave access to and from the Green Court and Infirmary, etc via the Prior's Entry, also called the Dark Entry, passage.
