Substantial earthwork ditch curving from W corner of Mallow Lees field to middle of N boundary with another running from E-NW creating a strip of land where the surface is higher than the surrounding. This is subdivided into irregular closes by other ditches. Faint traces of 3 other ditches can be seen elsewhere in the field. Interpreted as remains of medieval field boundaries. (1)
