Flint flakes, simple tools, pot boilers and fragments of coarse pottery were exposed in the loam of the N face of a now disused brick-earth pit at Coldblow Farm, Ripple (a) and a working floor was seen by Dewey in 1927. The pit, now under pasture, is centred at TR 358 5005, and 'Neolithic finds' are shown as having been found here on a map in Deal Castle Museum. No further information could be obtained during fieldwork. (1) additional reference (3-4)
