[TR 35015076] Beaker found AD 1905 [NAT] (1) A 'B' beaker was dug out of a stone pit on the Great Mongeham-Ripple road. There seems to have been no trace of a burial with it. (2) The site falls within the area of an old quarry (a), now under cultivation. This may be the beaker found in a stone quarry in 1913 (c.f. TR 35 SE 46) but the discrepancy in date could not be resolved during fieldwork. (3)
