In 1879, during drainage work in a top garden at Chislet Park Farm, Chislet, a hoard of bronze implements was found. Most were thrown away but five came into the possession of Mr. Perry of Canterbury, two of which are described as chisel-shaped. (1) Palstaves from Chislet are in the British and Canterbury Museums. (2) No further information, inquiries at Chislet Park Farm were negative. (3)
