[TR 20556856] A Belgic uniface stater (Mack 27a) was found in 1958 by J. Yorke-Robinson, Cliff Pavilion Camp Site, Glenbervie Drive, Beltings, Herne Bay, (who retains it) in the bed of Bishopstone Stream, about 30 ft. downstream of the wooden footbridge on which the O.S. shows a spot height of 59 ft (1,2). Mr. J.Y. Robinson confirmed the above siting. The coin which remains in Mr. Robinson's possession, was found when the stream was being cleared of rubbish (2). Additional references (3,4).
