A small garden of unknown size designed by Gertrude Jekyll in 1907 around a house, which was constructed of three previously individual houses of varying age. Features include a rose garden and Roman well. (1)

A 2011 review of the available information and archive material made no mention of the 'Roman well'. (2)

Well examined by representative of the Kent Underground Research Group in 2016. Thought to be more likely associated with the house and therefore of 17th century date (Pers comm).
