Standard concrete construction anti-tank pillbox with 4 embrasures. Gun holdfast ring in place.

This feature is recorded in the English Heritage report on the Hoo Peninsula Second World War Stop Line, part of the wider Hoo Peninsula study. The report states: "Second World War anti-tank gun emplacement or pillbox near the foot of a north facing slope at the northern edge of Berry Court Wood. The structure is 8.25m long by 6.5m wide. Recorded on 1944 aerial photographs and partially on 2013 Google Earth aerial photographs. Could not be located due to dense vegetation during a field visit in 2014.". (2)
