This feature is noted in the English Heritage report on the Hoo Peninsula Second World War Stop Line, part of the wider Hoo Peninsula study. The report states: "Second World War anti-tank gun emplacement or pillbox located near the foot of a north facing slope at the northern edge of Berry Court Wood. Recorded on 1944 aerial photographs and partially on 2013 Google Earth photographs. A 2014 field visit confirmed the pillbox is concrete with no brick shuttering, but evidence of wood shuttering was seen on the surface" (2).
