Second World War concrete defensive pillbox (Type 24, thin-walled version) built in a field west of Buckland Road, near its junction with Lillechurch and Gore Green Roads, Higham. It was one of three anti-invasion pillboxes sited to command this junction and to impede enemy vehicle access. Built in 1940 and demolished in about 1960.

This feature is recorded in the English Heritage report on the Second World War Stop Line in the Hoo Peninsula. The report states: "A possible Second World War pillbox seen to the north-west of Buckland Road at the southern edge of the orchards of Little Oakleigh. Condition: Recorded on aerial photographs but May 2015 field visits suggests it has been removed." (2)
