[TR 0133 6171] ROMAN BURIAL GROUND [R] (1) On the side of the road from the Brent, Faversham, to Davington Nunnery, (TR 06 SW 31) a Roman cemetery was discovered in 1770 in the form of nearly 30 urns containing ashes and burnt bones, in regular order, six in a row. Some of the urns were covered with tiles. (2) Nothing further found during additions made recently to works buildings (Weston Works) on site of cemetery. (3) [TR 0128 6171] ROMAN URNFIELD [R] (4)
