This structure was mapped from military aerial photographs as part of the SE Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey. However the building is gone by September 1962 (3).

The visible pillbox is rectangular in plan and measures 8m by 5m. It is most likely associated with other military activity in the area (MWX43184).
