Description from record TQ 77 NW 13:
[TQ 73097640] Manor House [T.I.] (1) The farmhouse now called Manor Farm (nameplate) is a half timbered building with jettied upper storey. According to the occupier the main front was rebuilt after a fire. The main surviving features of the house are the 16th century brick chimneys, one group of four in the centre and a pair at the south end. Inside the house are many old timbers and a large fireplace. The house is in excellent condition. For ground photograph see AO/59/11/8 (2) No change. (3) Manor Farmhouse, Buckland Road. Grade II Later 16th century, much rebuilt after fire c1910. Survivial: Altered - significant loss of original form (more than 50%)

This feature is recorded in the English Heritage Historic Area Assessment for Cliffe Parish. The report states:
"It has been estimated that the population reached 3000 in the 14th century with Manor Farm to the west 'in its most productive period and with the marshes under tenants producing wool, cheese and corn.' …
Manor Farm cottages near to Manor Farm, is also from the 17th century or earlier. Manor Farm itself preserves 'a loose courtyard' arrangement with contiguous 18th or 19th century granary, cart shed and stables looking inwards into the yard." (8)

CLIFFE-AT-HOO CP BUCKLAND ROAD TQ 77 NW 1/15 West side 21.11.66 Manor Farmhouse - II
Farmhouse. Later C16, much rebuilt after fire circa 1910. Timberframed and exposed with close-studding and plaster infilling. Plain tiled roof with very large clustered stack with four octagonal brick shafts on an arcaded brick base to right and end stack to left with two octagonal shafts. Two storeys with jetty over ground-floor and at eaves level. Three window front, with a two-storey bay to right and one-storey bays under jetty on ground-floor in centre and to left and on first-floor in centre. Entrance to left. Interior: late C17 staircase. Late C16 panelling in north bedroom on first-floor. Brick cellars with arches and drain. Listing NGR: TQ7318174967 (9)
