[Area TQ 523 443] A 2nd c. R.B. cremation burial in a coarse ware olla was found in the grounds of Culver House, Penshurst, and presented to Maidstone Museum by Mr Bamber. (1)
Mr Watney, tenant of No. 2 Culver House, indicated the find-spot at TQ 5233 4430. The burial was found during the construction of a trench from a septic tank in 1956. (2)
