Kent Brewery on Bow Rd, Wateringbury was founded in 1840 by J B Jude. In 1878 it was trading as Jude, Hunbury & Co Ltd. In 1924 the firm moved to Canterbury and sold the brewery to Whitbread & Co Ltd in 1925.

Later on Yalding Soup Co. bought the building which has since been demolished.

Kent Brewery, Wateringbury, was founded in 1840 by J.B. Jude. By 1878 it was trading as Jude, Hunbury & Co Ltd. In 1924 they moved to Canterbury and sold the brewery to Whitbread & Co Ltd in 1925. Whitbread later sold it to Yalding Soup Co. The brewery has subsequently been demolished.(1)
