Established by F.V. Tritton sometime before 1899. In 1912 the Brewery is acquired by Gardner & Co Ltd. The Premises are now the Black Pig public House.(1) Adjoining thw 16th century pub is the much altered remains of a brewery building, probably of 19th century date, now used as a dining room. The rest of the brewery complex was probable demolished.(2)
