Summary

A Malthouse was formerly located on Elms Avenue in Ramsgate. It is marked on the 1st, 3rd and 4th edition Ordnance Survey maps (c.1858-1940). Thought to have been one of the Maltings for the Queen Street Brewery, the building has now been demolished (see also TR 36 SE 332).

A rectanguler Malt House, on Elms Avenue,Ramsgate, prob. built before 1872. May have been the Maltings for Queen Street Brewery. The maltings was still in use in the 1930s.(1) The maltings were later demolished and is now the site of a modern office block.
