A nineteenth century brewery was located in front of a group of small brewery buildings on the west side of Fort Road, Margate. It was originally owned by Webb and Co., and was established before 1873. It was subsequently taken over by the Russell's Gravesend Brewery in 1897.

Webb and Co.'s Fort Brewery, West side of Fort Road, Margate. Est. before 1873 by Webb and Co., latterly the Fort Brewery Co. Taken over by Russell's Gravesend Brewery in 1897. The Fort Brewery Tap fronts group of small brewery buildings behind, possible including a warehouse-style building across Mansion Street. (1)
