A quartzite macehead, with hour-glass perforation was found at Idleigh, near Ash, and donated to Dartford Museum, 1/12/1950 by Master Kenneth Cornelius of 15 Wood View, Longfield. (1) The findspot at TQ 6240 6627 was indicated by Mr. Cornelius of 143 Main Road, Longfield, who picked up the macehead in the autumn of 1950 whilst ploughing a field. (2) (TQ 62406627) Mesolithic Macehead found 1950 (NAT) A pebble macehead with hour glass perforation was found at Iddleigh or Iddleigh Court. It is now in Dartford Museum. Information from J.N.
