Cropmark of possible Roman camp or field boundary, Leaveland. The north and east ditches of a 'playing card' with a curved angle appear in a range of aerial photographs, including 2008 and 1990. Nothing shows on the Ordnance Survery 1st-4th editions, the 1872 6" sheet, or the tithe mapping to suggest this feature. It has been noted that the suggested camp is around 21 miles - a day's march - west of Ebbsfleet, the favoured position for Caesar's landing. However, there is a potentially similar cropmark visible c. 875m to the west on the 1990 aerial photography.
