Summarised from report:

There are casemated gunrooms located within the Centre North west Bastion of the Citadel, their presence is indicated by seven chimney stacks on the rampart, suggesting that there were eight casemates, assuming that the one where the gallery entered was unheated. These would have provided small arms fire from behind the cross ditch scarp revetment. The ruined stacks remain visible and are brick built with a stone capping and twin elliptical flues. The loops in the ditch are all blocked. No plans of these casemates and there is no further information available about them. (1)
