The airfield code letters are centred at TR 0878 2788, on the western side of the Hythe and Dymchurch Light Railway. They lie approximately 93m to the NNE of the St Marys Bay Railway Station (Monument Number 502018). Together, the two side-by-side airfield code letter structures measure approximately 11m WNW to ESE and 6m SSW to NNE. The easternmost code structure appears to bear the letter C.

These airfield code letter structures lie to the south of two large circular features cut into the turf of the airfield (Monument Number 1535604). One of these circles contains the word Littlestone, and it is thought they may be the precursors of the airfield code letters.

By the time of the vertical aerial photograph of 1983; the airfield code letter structures had been removed (1-2).
