Originator:Oxford Archaeological South
Date:2016
Summary:A report on First World War Wireless Stations commissioned by English Heritage as part of the National Heritage Protection Plan to provide improved information for the understanding of wireless stations in England during the First World War. The topic of wireless stations in the First World War has in the past been examined from a technological and engineering perspective, but less consideration has been given to the topic from a historical and archaeological perspective. This report has made an initial step at reconciling these two realms.
