The three possible bomb craters are centred at TR 0770 2232 and are visible scattered across an area measuring approximately 195m east to west, and 84m north to south. The individual craters are located and sized as follows: TR 0782 2230, three metres in diameter; TR 0765 2230, six metres in diameter; TR: 0763 2237, 11m in diameter.

All three possible bomb craters have a narrow banked rim around the edge. It is thought this may be a result of the loose shingle characteristic of the area, which would have been upcast by the explosion.

All three craters are visible as extant earthworks on vertical aerial photographs of 1946. By the time of the next available vertical aerial photograph of 1959; the two southernmost craters of the group appear to have been filled in. The northernmost crater still appears to be faintly visible as an extant earthwork on vertical aerial photographs of 2007 (1-3).
