Two WWII military buildings of unknown use and function. One building was located at the end of a large trench. This building measured 5.8m by 4.6m. It was mapped from April 1947 [1]. The structure was first observed from December 1941 [2] and still visible by August 1968 [3]. Removed due to redevelopment of road by July 1983 [4]. The second building was located further N and on the E side of the trench. It was rectangular and measured 6m by 4m and was mapped from September 1945 [5]. This feature was surrounded by a V-shaped area of darker ground. This may have been the result of burning the surrounding vegetation. This building was removed and the area used as a road, as visible on Next Perspectives photography taken in 2003 [6].

A transcription of the features recorded from aerial photographs exists within a GIS layer held by this HER.
