TR 10873736. At Barrowhill, Sellindge, in a field called Mount Field (a) there is a large bowl barrow. It is situated within a few yards of the Ashford - Folkestone road (A.20) but is screened by a thick hedge and a line of trees. It measures about 44.0m in diameter and 2.2m in height; there is no visible ditch. The feature is much reduced and spread by ploughing, but is otherwise apparently undisturbed. Surveyed at 1/2500. (1) No change. (2) There is no trace of a ditch and it was recorded on the Tithe Map for Sellinge in 1838. A rapid walk-over of the site produced a number of worked flints(7).
