on early plans of the detached and north centre bastions a series of tanks and buildings are shown to the south and east of the outwork. The buildings represent a tool yard. They are not present on later plans of the Western Heights and were likley demolished during the remodelling of the Detached and North Centre bastion in the 1860's. On early plans of the detached and north centre bastions a series of tanks and buildings are shown to the south and east of the outwork. The buildings represent a tool yard. They seem to have been constructed between 1804-1816 are not present on later plans of the Western Heights and were likley demolished during the remodelling of the Detached and North Centre bastion in the 1860's.
